Healthy living theme

  Hello, I have bought the healthy living theme to customize my mamasrealesblog.com, the thing is that when i want to change de background and I preview it, it doesn’t appear in the whole page, the logo for example does not get the colour on the back.
  Another problem i have is that i want to use the two coloums available in the theme, but i cant do it.
  For last, I want to see the posts just with a picture and the beggining, not the whole text, how can i do that?
