Hebrew Domain Names

  ICANN has opened registration for Hebrew domain names. Having purchased a Hebrew domain name (סרטןהערמונית.co.il ), on which I would like to host this Hebrew language blog. For some reason, the hostname cannot be added to WordPress. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

  Staff will need to do a record creation of some sort – I will mark this thread for their attention – they are running at reduced levels but still checking the Forum and providing support.

  PS – the staff will need to know the blog that you intend to use the Hebrew name with.

  WordPress.com does not support mapping IDN domains such as סרטןהערמונית.co.il at this time. It may be something we’ll consider adding later, but there are no plans to add it in the near future.
