I am trying to reset my URL for my blog to a previous one I still own but it will not let me do it!! Saying the site is already in use – BY ME!!!!

I’m sorry but we cannot even begin to help any blogger who fails to provide the URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

Hi there, apologies, I thought you would point me into the direction of the guide. It’s http://popppps.wordpress.com that I changed to http://positivitypopppps.wordpress.com recently but would like to change it back to http://popppps.wordpress as a lot of people cannot seem to find it now!

Or actually, can I just have the popppps.wordpress redirected automatically to positivitypoppps?

To have the old address redirect to the new one you have to purchase the site redirect upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/ Make sure you are in the dashboard of the old blog when you buy the upgrade.
If you don’t want to buy the upgrade you’ll have to manually move everything back to the old address by exporting and importing. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/

As kokkieh mentioned, the Site Redirect upgrade will let you redirect visitors automatically from one blog to another.
