    Hi there!

    All of our paid plans include the offer of a free domain registration in the first year. What this means is that when you buy a new plan on WordPress.com, you can register a domain for free, as part of that plan.

    After the first year of the plan is complete, the domain renewal cost becomes a separate cost in addition to the plan renewal.

    You can also buy a domain separately from a plan, although it is generally not subject to any offers in that case; if you were trying to buy a domain only without a plan, then it’s normal that the domain purchase cost would be shown.
