  Hi!
  I have been trying to create a blog with a .wordpress.com extension but all effort has been challenging with no success.
  Is wordpress not offering .wordpress.com extension anymore?

  There is always the chance that you are trying to create an address that is already owned by someone else. What happens if you type your chosen address (or a variation of it) ending in .wordpress.com here: https://wordpress.com/start/domains
  The free domain should be below the two paid-for ones.
