  I am trying to change the colour of the header text in my blog to match that of the background so it disappears, however I am not getting quite as far as I had hoped. I have tried changing the colour value to that specified in the body, but nothing happens.

  If you want this text to disappear completely:

  Then, you don’t need to match the text color to the background’s; try hiding it altogether. To do that, locate the “#header” selector and replace “text-align:center;” with “display: none;” so it’ll read like this:

  #header {
      display: none;
  }

  That should do it.
