    Hello All!
    I am completely new to WP, and am in the process of trying to design a site here, with my domain name already being registered through another provider. When I first tried to sign up for WP, when I get to the screen asking for a url, I typed in mine and it said it’s basically ‘too young’ to transfer, but I can map it over instead. Today I discovered I could create an account using keywords, so I used relevant keywords and was able to set up my account. The problem I am having now is trying to map the domain name over:

    When I follow the steps to map the domain name, I am taken to a payment screen where there is a $96 dollar charge being applied automatically to sign me up for a premium account for a randomly generated wordpress domain, which is not what I need at this time. I simply need to pay the $13.00 for the domain mapping.

    hi,

    Domain Mapping is an add-on.
    That means you must first have a paid plan ($96) to then add Domain Mapping.
