  I want people to be able to go to my site and see a bunch of pictures on the front page and when they click a pic, it takes em to the story associated with the picture. Also a brief description of each pic or story Thanks so much

  Hi there!

  Since you’re using the theme Sketch, we can set this up using the Portfolio Page Template in just a few steps.

  1. Add a new Page and title it “Portfolio”
  2. Using the Template dropdown to the right, set it the Portfolio Page Template (example)
  3. Publish the page
  4. Visit your Reading Settings
  5. Select Front page displays “A static page (select below)” and select Portfolio as your Front page
  6. Scroll to the bottom and save changes
  7. Add a new Project

  This is where you’ll type out your story. Make sure to Set a Featured Image for the project, and that image is what will show up on your front page.

  If you’d like also to have blog posts, not to be included on the front page. Then also add a new page (e.g. “Blog”) then return to your Reading Settings, and select that page as your Posts page in the first setting, right beneath where you set Portfolio as your Front page.
