Hello, I had a website created on WordPress and optimized with ThriveThemes. However this is a project I haven´t touched in a very long time. Today when I came back to my wordpress account it was completly empty like I had never created a website. Can anyone throw some light on this one? Thanks!

Hello,
What was the name of the site you are looking for?
Was your site built using WordPress.com or WordPress.org? It is possible that it was built using WordPress.org combined with a custom theme from ThriveThemes.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities, but the essential difference is that help on this forum does not have access to all WordPress sites, only ones hosted on the WordPress.com servers. For more information, please see: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org
If indeed, the site was built using WordPress.com, staff should be able to find it by domain name, and provide support.

Hello Riley,
Yes, my website was built using WordPress.com. However, I didn’t touch it for so long that my “Shared” plan at Hostgator was canceled. So I’m also wondering if it has something to do with that since they were the web hosting service. So I believe that the website was hosted on the Hostgator servers and not WordPress.com.
I will also check this issue with them. Meanwhile, if you think you can help furthermore with this please feel free to.

Hey buddyy83,
Your domain is available to the public. Anyone can buy it which means there is no such website with this domain name.
If you want to use it, you can buy a paid plan at WordPress.com and so do your domain name.
Please check the pricing.
https://wordpress.com/pricing/As per now, you have a free plan which doesn’t allow you to use a custom domain, so you have to upgrade.
You can register your domain and start a brand new website.
Hope this helps.

Hello ravichahar,
Where did you see that my domain is available to the public?
I’ve just checked it at my Namecheap account and it only expires on 09/09/2018.
Thanks!

You can analyze the status of any domain name on Whois.com. They are showing your domain is available.
Please check it again.

Once again thank you for your attention ravichahar!
Something wasn’t just right because I had checked the domain at my Namecheap account and talked with a support team member. So I just went back to the post here and realized the domain was misspelt. Sorry…my bad!
It’s manifestationmiraclereviewed.com
It was missing a “t” on the “manifestation” word.
So just to confirm, since the website was hosted on Hostgator and my Shared plan was cancelled, that’s why when I came to WordPress.com the website just wasn’t there, right?
Is there any way to recover it through WordPress.com?
Thank you again!

As you have mentioned, it was hosted on Hostgator which makes it a self-hosted WordPress website(.org) so only they have the access to your old data to recover it.
We’re only able to help with the websites which are hosted on WordPress.com.
For now, you have to contact your web hosting customer support to recover it. But if you only want the domain name and want to start a new website, you can buy an upgraded plan here at WordPress.com and transfer or map your domain.
Please check the pricing. https://wordpress.com/pricing/
