Hello – I need to explore some templates

    I have a coupon code for a 1.00 per month promo, and when I get to the shopping cart it is asking for 300.00 for a yr. Can you please assist? I was going to keep my godaddy domain current. and not knowing the proper terminology, build a new website with WP and direct atlantaboatbroker.com to my WP site. Please advise.

    Hi Zane,

    I’m not aware of any $1 a month promo here on WordPress.com, and definitely not for our Business Plan (which is the $300 one). Can you tell me what coupon code you’re trying to use, and where you got it? Then I can check if the code exists in our system.

    It sounds like it might be a coupon for a hosting plan at GoDaddy instead.

    To clarify, WordPress is the name of the software you’ll use to build your site. WordPress.com and GoDaddy are both hosting providers for that software. So you can buy a hosting plan from GoDaddy, install the open source version of WordPress on their servers, and use that to build your site.

    Or you can create a site with us using our managed version of WordPress. Hosting with us is free – the site you created at http://ostrichchocolatecallisto15347.wordpress.com/ is already hosted with us – but we offer different paid plans with extra features that you might need depending on what you’d like to do with your site.
