  How do I transfer my domain name to another site? Can you please explain in 3 steps or less (not pages). :)

  Thank you so much for answering. I truly appreciate it.

  My domain name is:
  Healthyhealingcoaches.com(whatever wordpress adds). :)

  I want to go to the site: wix.com

  healthyhealingcoaches.com is your GoDaddy domain, yes? That is what I see when I look up the public WHOIS info for the domain here: https://gwhois.org/healthyhealingcoaches.com+dns

  To clarify, I see that you had a domain transfer for healthyhealingcoaches.com to your WordPress.com account, but then cancelled the transfer (and refunded your upgrades) before the domain itself was moved over to us.

  Because of this, the domain is still with GoDaddy and has not moved. To connect your domain to Wix please contact GoDaddy support staff and ask for their help in following the steps Wix recommends here: https://support.wix.com/en/article/connecting-your-godaddy-domain-to-the-wix-name-servers

  Then may I ask – why can’t I leave this site?

  I did all that because I did not understand what to do. No excuses, this is way beyond my level in this area. :(

  All I want to do is close my account and move on.

  How do I do that? I don’t want to pay anymore money.

  Hi Marcy,

  To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

  We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

  You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:

  https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  That said, it sounds like you may have a hosting plan elsewhere – probably GoDaddy as well? Here, on WordPress.com, you only have a free site healthyhealingcoaches.wordpress.com and we’re not going to charge you if you do not wish to upgrade it.
  You can, in fact go ahead and close your account as explained here, but there is no need to do that.
