  I CANNOT FIND THE EDITOR BUTTON IN THE APPEARANCE DROP DOWN MENU

  Hi there !

  I am trying to verify my wordpress.com site with google master but I cannot find the editor button in the appearance menu. I need this editor function so I can paste my verification tag to the header. I hope I am making sense. It does seem a common difficulty as I have seen other similar comments but they are still to no avail.
