  He’s suggesting that you use the service Sitemeter. It’s covered in the FAQ sticky at the top of the forums just for reference.

  There is a built in counter though. You can add it to your blog if your theme supports widgets. Go dashboard -> Presentation -> Sidebar widgets. Look for the one labeled Blog Stats and slide it over to your sidebar.
