  I installed wordpress on my site last night and changed the permalinks like this /%postname%/, the blog is in a subdirectory called blog so I had to change the .htaccess.

  But the site won’t burn the rss feed and it won’t let me add new categories how do I fix it. would be greatful if anyone could give the .htaccess I need to use

  support at wordpress.com is closed over the weekend, but you need to be over at wordpress.org. Follow the link nosysnoop gave you; we’re using different software, as she noted.
