write interesting stuff on your blog. People won’t come to your blog for nothing. Make it interesting for those who do come and if its interesting enough they may link to you. Linking is the only way you will get your blog indexed in search engines. Remember copy is king. Oh and it won’t happen overnight or in just 10 posts. Have fun blogging don’t worry about anything else…and before you know it you’ll be up there ;-).

Both my blogs took less than five days to end up on Google. Submit your site here on the right – http://www.submitexpress.com/ Submit it to only the top 40 search engines. And also claim your blog at Technorati and place Technorati’s buttons and such on your site. And make sure to ping your blog.

And how do you ping? And what is the link for submitting it on Technorati?
Can you give me the links for the “Submit URL” page for those 40 search engines? (I already did Google, Yahoo and Live Search (MSN)

And will my site show up on a search engine eventually?

The link for submitting it to the top 40 search engines is that link I gave you. And on the rightof the page, submit your link where it says –

Get an account at Technorati and claim your blog. They explain it all there. Find the codes for their buttons to place on your site too. And you’ll also find there when you have an account where you can later ping – http://technorati.com/ping

I also ping at – http://www.pingoat.com/ Ping when you’re done updating your blog for the day or during long periods of time.

I get the impression that penguinmaster wants everything done for them with instant results. Reading through this thread from the start I can’t help but get the picture of a small child stamping their foot demanding everything be brought to them. It’s unappealing but understandable from a child, it’s pathetic and a major turn off from an adult.

I am bowing out of offering help on this…..until I see some willingness to do stuff on their own.
