HELP!!

  I am a complete newbie where blogging is concerned. I know NOTHING on how to run one but decided to “take the plunge”.
  My first question is “How do I change the category on a post or reply?
  Any suggestions you might have for a total novice would be GREATLY appreciated.

  Please atsrt by using the learn wordpress.com step by step tutorial prepared by Staff. There’s a link to it on the bottom of your Admin page.

  “How do I change the category on a post or reply?

  Categories and Tags can only be assigned to posts. We can edit posts to change Categories or Tags we previously assigned to them and want to change. “or reply” – We cannot assign Categories to comments.

  P.S. Everyone wants help or they would not be posting to this peer support forum, where Volunteers ie. your fellow bloggers proved answers to support questions. Thread titles ought to describe what one needs help with such as “change categories on post”. That way those who are multitasking can see at a glance if they can answer and how long answering will take them.

  You’re welcome. The learn wordpress.com tutorial is didvided into sections and presented in step by step fashion. If more new bloggers used it rather then leaping into the deep-end and then posting here for help, IMHO they would have a much better blogging experience. That being said, we Volunteers are here for you when you need us. Best wishes for happy blooging. :)
