  hello, for the main time i will love to just put up a currently under maintenance on my page. how can i accomplish this?

  We do not have maintenance pages at wordpress.COM. To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings
