HELP

Hi! I did a major mistake and I wonder if you guys could help me. I’ve paid for the domain name on wordpress.com but I realized that I wanted to creat my blog with wordpress.org. I was woundering if there would be a way for me to get back the domain name I paid for and use it on my other blog (that I would creat with wordpress.org). Thanks alot!

Don’t ask for a refund. KEEP the domain name; for any WP.org blog you’ll need a domain name anyway. On the domain part of the dashboard, you can just change which blog it points to. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/

Oh… I just cancelled it but the process is not done yet, can I still cancel the cancellation? I know it sound weird lol

Staff should ask you if you really want to cancel the domain name since there is no guarantee that you can get the name back – at that point you tell them you really want to keep the name – also since this has been flagged for the staff by @raincoaster they might cancel the cancellation before you are ask –
