HELP!

    I cannot work out how to use WP. I need an idiot’s tutorial taking me step by step through BASICS – all I need to do is have a blog for my uni project. None of the fancy stuff. Every tutorial I’ve looked at is waffling on ad nauseam about how wonderful WP is but nothing tells a totally non tecchie like me how to use the thing. I am not stupid but I am totally baffled. I am not a blogger – and at this rate I never will be. I have ‘created’ a WP blog but I cannot get rd of it and try again. I can’t alter or delete the firts heartfelt but not intended to be included post – it was just a test. I can’t seem to get any changes I made to appear when I log into it. If there is anyone out there with the compassion to help me rather than laugh your head off at my stupidity, I will love you forever and when I rule the world, I will jobshare the task with you!

    Hi,

    Ignore those and look for the WordPress.com support pages addressing a specific general topic, or an issue that you encounter.

    I have ‘created’ a WP blog but I cannot get rd of it and try again.

    See the Delete Site support page, but consider the other options mentioned there before you delete the site. See also the Recycling Blog Addresses support page, noting that you’ll have to wait two years to use the same address again should you delete it.

    Drafts and published posts can be easily deleted. See the Deleting and Restoring Posts section of the Edit Posts Screen support page.

    Could you provide us with an example or two of the sort of changes you make which aren’t appearing as you’d expect?
