  Trying to import my blog from blogger into wordpress

  Hi
  Thanks for responding! Blogger doesn’t have and export button but it does have a back up content. It sends the back up content to a xml file under my downloads but I can’t open it and when I drag the file into the import box on wordpress it is telling me it is not valid?

  You’re most welcome!

  I created an Account with test posts on Blogger so that I could work through the process with you.

  When you’re logged in to Blogger, go to Settings>Other>Back up Content. That will save an xml file to your computer.
  Log in to your WP Admin panel on Wordress:
  https://genevievecooks.wordpress.com/wp-admin, then go to Tools>Import>Blogger – run importer. Click on Choose File to locate the file you saved from Blogger.

  I forgot to add, click on Upload file and import after you’ve chosen the file. The transfer happened quickly for me. Hopefully you’ll have the same result.
