We must pay for all upgrades in full at the time of purchase.WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade.
Premium upgrades do not include any premium themes which are all individually priced one time upgrades. yes it expired. I wanted to renew and move it to GoDaddy where my website builder is to have everything In one. GoDaddy you can get someone on the phone to help.wordpress you cannot..Fishy and weird …doesn’t make me want to go back

There’s nothing fishy about the fact that there is no phone support at wordpress.COM. Please be patient while waiting for Staff assistance.

it is fishy…you should be able to talk with someone. And only being able to renew with upgrades when I don’t need them is greedy and unprofessional

janellemarietv.com is in redemption.
This domain expired back at the beginning of December and is now in redemption. There are 2 ways to proceed, but only one will guarantee you maintain ownership of the domain.
We can contact our domain partner and request that the domain be restored. To do this, they will charge an $80 fee. Typically, we hear back within 1-2 days. First, I need to make sure you agree to the fee.
The second option is that you can let the domain continue to process through the redemption period. After 80ish days, the domain will become available again. If you are the first one to register it at that point it belongs to you again. You would also be able to register it somewhere else if desired (not necessarily here with WordPress.com) Now, understand, there is a good chance that a squatter will pick it up and you will be left empty handed.
