  I have run in difficulty moving a wordpress site. I want to keep the original as development site but can’t get it to work at it’s new location – just get a blank post and when you click on the theme logo it take you back to original site. I’m sure it’s to do with the URL settings but I can’t get access to the back end of the new site only the old one. I have CPanel so can make changes directly in CPanel but don’t know what to do. I’d really appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thank you in advance.

  There are 2 versions of WordPress.

  What we do here at WordPress.com is a tad different from the self hosted WordPress sites that use the software installation.
