  We are designing a WordPress website for a client and it’s been a struggle doing it from their account. We’d like to build from scratch and transfer to their account when finished. Is this possible?

  If you are talking about a site running on the wordpress;com platform, there is no problem to transfer the ownership, https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  So she’d just take ownership by logging in with her WordPress account… And we publish and go live at that point?

  I’m trying to create a blog, but every time I click on write a page appears that says I need to create a domain. I don’t want a domain.

  It would be better if it were a separate thread. :)

  However, there will be paid domain offers but your free site should be listed below them with a “continue with free” button.
