  I am trying to figure out how to add new posts/revise existing without notifying my subscribers……

  I am now having trouble setting my blog to “private” as the forum says to do – in the privacy tab I am getting this:

  “We are committed to your privacy and security.

  Share information with our analytics tool about your use of services while logged in to your WordPress.com account. Learn more

  This information helps us improve our products, make marketing to you more relevant, personalize your WordPress.com experience, and more as detailed in our privacy policy

  We use other tracking tools, including some from third parties. Read about these and how to control them.”

  As opposed to:

  The window with the “Public,” “Hidden,” “Private…”

  :( ?????

  Hi,

  The message you’re seeing are the details on your privacy.

  For WordPress.com sites, please go to “Settings” and scroll until you see the “Privacy Box”, where you can update the settings. If you state your website URL, I can offer you a direct link, but in the meantime please follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Please bare in mind that this is for a WordPress.com site, you’ve not given your URL so I’m not certain if your site is hosted with WordPress.com.
