Help!

Good morning. I’m experiencing some problems with my blog. If I try to click ‘like’ it doesn’t connect unless I’m clicking ‘like’ on a wordpress blog. The same is true if I try to leave a comment. I can’t leave a comment unless it is a wordpress blog. Any assistance you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Kathy

    Hi,

The WordPress.com Likes support page says,

Note: Visitors must be logged into WordPress.com in order to use the Like button. An alternative for non-WordPress.com visitors is to use the Ratings system.

WordPress.com has no control over how other blogging or website hosting services treats non-registered visitors.

The Who Can Comment support page says:

Comments are enabled on WordPress.com blogs by default. You can enable and disable comments. Each blog owner has full control to approve, delete, or edit comments left on their blog.

    and

You can allow only registered WordPress.com users to comment, or you can allow anyone to comment. If you allow anyone to comment, you can choose whether the name and email fields are required or not.

Again, other platforms and hosting services may have different policies with regarding to who can comment.
