I am a non-techie and need to determine if Word Press is the best vehicle to use to build a transaction website for an art business. I have a “domain name” registered through Go Daddy and need to understand the mechanics involved between Word Press and GD, etc. I need help!

You are allowed to sell only what you make yourself on your own blog, but our blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce.
On free hosted WordPress.com blog we can use a contact form and/or a PayPal donation button for sale of only products or services created or provided by ourselves.
