  I’m new to blogs and signed up with wordpress.org through my GoDaddy site. I feel like I would do better with wordpress.com
  Can it be switched without having to pay anything else?

  You can switch to WordPress.com, but please note that the hosting plan you have with GoDaddy cannot be used with us as we’re different companies.

  If you don’t want to pay anything, you can sign up for our Free plan.
