HELP!

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi- I am the new president of a non profit organization called Hillsdale Educational Foundation. This website (https://hillsdalek8educationfoundation.wordpress.com/) was created years ago and we cannot seem to reach the person who did it.
Therefore, we do not have the log-in credentials and I need to make updates to the site.
How can I move it under my name? If I am unable to, then we will need to deactivate it as the information is old.

    Best,

    Melissa Mazza-Chiong
    President, Hillsdale Education Foundation

If you have the transaction IDs from charges on this account, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here:

    https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

Just fill out as much information as you have including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

    WordPress XXXXXXXXXX

You can read more about what the account recovery process entails here:

    https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

If you don’t have any transactions for this site, please send an email to passwordhelp (at) wordpress (dot) com explaining the situation, and we’ll see if there’s anything we can do for you.

    Thanks!
