Help!
-
I would like to like people to be able to link to my wordpress site with a button. Ideally, I would like them to be able to copy the code off of my website and place it on their site. I wrote this code to display the source code:
<textarea rows=”7″ cols=”10″> <img src=”http://www.southtek.com/oneofthebunch/oneofthebunchblogbutton.jpg” border=”0″></textarea>
Every time I push “save” or “publish”, it erases the textarea tag. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Here is the code you want:
<img src=”http://www.southtek.com/oneofthebunch/oneofthebunchblogbutton.jpg” border=”0″>

Oops. Forgot the backticks. Correct code below:
<a href="http://oneofthebunch.wordpress.com/"><img src="http://www.southtek.com/oneofthebunch/oneofthebunchblogbutton.jpg" border="0"></a> -
You need to use the source code short cut for it to work

diamondfistwerny, oneofthebunch just had the wrong HTML tags. She needed instead of <textarea>
-
For example you can see how I used the source code short
cut to offer the HTML code for my mini banners.Teck~Line Mini Banner link

Duh! Thanks teck, I finally figured out what oneofthebunch wanted. My bad.
oneofthebunch, here is the code you need. Just paste it into a text widget in your sidebar:
[sourcecode language='html'] <a href="http://oneofthebunch.wordpress.com/"><img src="http://www.southtek.com/oneofthebunch/oneofthebunchblogbutton.jpg" border="0"></a> [/sourcecode] -
Now folks can download the whole code, and it will automatically link back to your site.

Yep all they have to do is click “copy to clipboard” & paste the code into there site
Your welcome! beemeister,
