Help

Hello! I need help. My wordpress site was hosted by siteground. I changed my debit card back in December and so the siteground monthly charges did not go through and I didn’t realize it. I realized it a few days ago and have been trying to recover my site. I talked to someone at siteground and they delete it from their system after 30 days so there is no way to recover it on their end. I can see my website on my wordpress account, but when I click on it, I get the ‘this site can’t be reached’ message. How can I get my website back? I know I should have backed it up.
Thank you.
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

Hey there,
Sorry to here of the issue you faced there.
You’re seeing that in your account, as the site was probably connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack, but it looks like there’s nothing at the other end to connect to.
If Siteground has said the site is now purged, you’re in the position of looking at a site rebuild.
Even though the site is now gone, it looks like the content itself has been archived by Web Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20220930193918/http://amandalewallen.com/ , so it’s possible to copy some of the text and download the assets to use in a new site.
Alas, we’ve seen this happen before, and so we’re more than willing to help when it does. Would you be willing to tell me more about some of the plugins you had on the site, and what functionality you need?
We can look to get you back your feet and guide you toward next steps. Our plans and features can be seen here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/. To use a custom domain, at a minimum the personal plan would need to be use on the site.
I hope this has helped and I’m hoping we can help with the rebuild. :)
