    You get a blog on WordPress.org by finding a good web host, buying hosting, downloading software from WordPress.org and installing it in that webspace that you’ve bought. Read the sticky post at the top of the forum on the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

    Actually to be clear, wordpress.ORG does not host blogs. They build, distribute and support the wordpress software for self-hosted blog that are on third-party hosting sites such as godaddy, bluehost, etc. You can’t “get” a blog on wordpress.ORG.
