“When clicking on the link to my homepage, it will not work. It just comes up with the message ‘nothing found, ready to publish your first post, publish here.’ The link for the blog is working fine when you go straight into it. On my dashboard in the Pages subheading , all pages only display the about page, however there are more pages displayed on the actual link for the blog. On the webpage for the original feed of blogs, one of these links is broken.”

I see your blog just fine by clicking that link. What link are you clicking on that takes you elsewhere?

By pressing the home button it takes me to a page that says ” ‘nothing found, ready to publish your first post, publish here.’. so you can click on all pages and see content ?

The HOME button of that blog goes to http://ruthcarden20.wordpress.com/. I suspect you changed the URL of the blog and are using a custom menu. Change it by hand to the rigth URL. If you’re not using a custom menu, this is a bug and should be reported.
To report it as a bug put “bug” and “modlook” in the tags area of the sidebar. Without quotations, and one at a time.

As the Home link is not actually a page set up ( I have no access to it ) therefore can not tag bug or such like.

raincoaster is correct here. You have a Custom Menu item titled Home that links to http://ruthcarden20.wordpress.com/. To fix this, go to Appearance > Menus and select the Home menu item on the right. Change the link to your new home page.
