HELP!

  In the middle of editting a post for tomorrow I published it by mistake!

  I then restored the original post and put my ‘work in progress’ into trash so no one could read it!

  Now I want to restore it (NOT publish it) so that I can finish the editting … anyone know how to do that?

  I am scared to push the restgore button incase it published it again ???

  You can either restore the first version from Trash or permanently delete it there https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/permanently-delete-trash

  Sending posts to Trash is not a good plan in the situation you describe. Editing the posts status and changing it back to draft in the Publish module is the safer way to go.
