I don’t see anything wrong with https://authorclaireupton.wordpress.com/.
When you say it saves some features and deletes others, you have to tell us WHAT features it deletes in order for us to help you.
We can’t really help with Facebook unless you tell us why you think it should show on there, how you attempted to make it show, and what if anything actually does show on there.

Sorry I should have given more details. It is the header that keeps disappearing & the Amazon shop link, comes up as code, rather than the shop itself. Not very techy so not sure if it is something I am doing wrong. :/
-
Well, that’s because you’re not allowed to link to an amazon shop here. You can link to specific items on Amazon using a text affiliate link, but no shop or widget codes will work here.

No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.com blogs. The only blogs that can be equipped for ecommerce are those with the $299. per year business upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.

1. WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.2. Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.
