  I’m having huge problems. I can log in to my wordpress account, but nothing I set up is there. When I try to got o my domain frankimbarlina.com/wp-admin and try to log in it tells me that password is incorrect. When I click the lost password link nothing happens, page just resets. Please help.

  You are posting to the wrong support forum and using the wrong reset password link.

  We cannot help you as we do not provide support for any blogs that are not hosted by WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

  I just tried wordpress.org and it does not recognize my username or email, however wordpress.com did. Are you sure I am in the wrong support forum?

  Yes. You need to register at WordPress.org. You only have a login here because you’re using Jetpack and you automatically get a login here with that.

  Thanks all. finally got it sorted out and it only took about 5 hours! Once I finally was able to get into the forum and even though I was not permitted to post a topic for some reason…I finally found a way to reset through FTP. Tricky and realize now that I actually got lucky, but who cares as long as it works. Thanks again.
