  I want to disable two-step authentication, I do not have authenticator on my phone and this MUST BE DONE TODAY.

  See also the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

  Note: If you submitted an account recovery form and Account Recovery Staff have a backlog then you will have to wait in the queue until they help those who contacted them before you did.

  Thanks very much………I’m reminded of the Big Bang Theory episode. I can read the directions on the site, and go to a weblink, but it doesn’t help if what you were directed to do didn’t work. So…yeah.

  I’ll try it again. If you can help, please do. If all you’ve got are weblinks, thanks, but I read them already.
