HELP

ok… This is still not working. I have signed into my website but it is showing nothing to update, in fact it says i have ‘no sites’ I have tried everything you all have told me to do but I need to update my website. I would like to have this one deleted so I can start a new one that I can manage. Please tell me how to delete this current ErinElkins.com and start a new one with y’all where I can still use the domain ‘ErinElkins.com’

Sorry for the frustration! I can let you know that it appears you have two accounts on WordPress.com, and the one you’re signed in with here is not connected to the website you’re looking to update. If you can find your other account information, that would be the way to get to the dashboard for ErinElkins.com.

Hmmm… Ok I remember making only the one account. Is it the same username with a different password? What happens if I can’t get onto the “right one” I’m so confused at this point.

I’m sorry for the confusion! Did someone else set up the site for you? It is under a different username than the one you’re using now.
If someone else set up the site, they would need to give you access to it.

Is there a way to see what the username is?? I had someone do something to it but he doesn’t remember. If it was me that set up a different one, maybe if I saw the username I would remember the password?? Let me know because we are at a loss…

Hi Erin –
The best I can do in this case is that I’ve sent an email to the address on file for the other account. If you’re able to access that email and reply to it, we might be able to get closer to getting this sorted out.
