Help a newbie with layout, please?

  Hi – hoping someone can tell me how to remove the white text that appears at the very top of my home page – I hope to shift everything up by removing that text & space. I’m using the Modularity Lite theme by Thad Allender. Thanks in advance, Meg

  Hello there,
  Modularity Lite does not have the feature for hiding the blog title built into the theme. If you remove it from here > Settings > General then the search engine spiders will not index your blog content.

  If you have CSS editing experience, and are willing to pay for an annually renewable CSS editing upgrade, and do the work yourself then you can hide the display without removing the blog title from the General page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
