Help Accessing Our Site
-
I have exhausted every resource on this site I can locate and cannot solve my problem. I am the Executive Director of an organization that maintained the above site via member staff. After weeks (months I think) of digging, I finally got an email and password (I don’t know because I can’t access the site). In the interim I created a new account, thinking it would allow me to access help for the old one. It doesn’t. It is a maddening cycle of prove who you are. The existing site has wrong information that must be updated. Can anyone tell me how to access the log in when the email is other than what I have registered (the new identity)? There must be a way since I have an email address and a pasword.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It isn’t a maddening cycle of prove who you are; it’s just wordpress.com has a very strict policy regarding sites and accounts. WordPress.com doesn’t give access to a site on demand. You’ll have to proof one way or another you are the rightfull owner.
As you have a paid plan, you can use the Transaction ID to restore access to the account owning that site at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Yes, it is a maddening cycle. I have the logon ID and password and cannot access the account without a third piece of information. I also can’t correct outdated information and WordPress does not provide any support unless you pay for your account. I did not set the account up.

Hi there!
Since the site you’re trying to access has paid subscriptions, you can locate the transaction ID for payments made to WordPress.com on that account on your organization’s credit card/bank statement. Here’s how to locate the transaction ID: https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#on-your-credit-card-statement
Once you have the transaction ID, you can submit it using this form. Our account recovery team will get back to you via email to help you log in.

I am honestly unaware of anyone paying for our site. How do you know that to be the case?
-
Hi @kyledorseyccw, staff can tell because we see the upgrades, but @staartmees can tell because your site has a custom domain. That’s a paid feature on our services.
It looks like site ownership was transferred to you now, though, so that’s good! You’ll want to be sure to add payment details for renewals here, so the site will keep functioning correctly when it’s due for renewal at the end of the year:
