  Please tell me I can get back the page I just accidentally deleted.

  Well if you have a post backup, you can get it back that way, since you probobly don’t, contact wordpress, they keep backups of your blog for you!

  I do have a back-up however having searched there only the posts are present, not the pages.

  ifcullen, if the page was published for a while there is a good possibility to find it in the google cache. Could you please tell us the title of the page?

  The blog is a private one……..I’m sure that complicates the whole thing. The page title is The Inner Sky and it has been privately posted for a couple days.

  Google doesn’t index private blogs, as far as I know. You might still try (who knows??) to type cache:http://name.of.your.blog/2008/02/inner-sky in the google search and see if something comes out.

  nope………didn’t work. I just sent a note to Support. Oh UGH!! That page took some time to write. :(

  I’d recommend you use an offline blog editor like Blogdesk or Ecto, so you always have another copy of your posts. If it was private and you deleted it, it’s very unlikely staff will be able to help at all.
