Help! Accidentally deleted blog without knowing I couldn't get the URL back.
-
Agh! I started writing and formatting a blog (blog1) with a random URL because I hadn’t decided on an official one. So, once I did decide, I quickly opened up another blog (blog2) with the URL I wanted because I was afraid someone might snatch it up. After I had finished formatting blog1, I thought I could delete blog2 and change blog1’s URL to it. However, I didn’t realize that once I deleted the URL, I could never get it back again. I know there is a policy in place to avoid certain things from happening and that sites are only restored in rare cases, but this was truly a mistake, and I don’t mean any harm in trying to get it back. It’s an internship project, and I’ve sent the URL to others and also made graphics, so it would mean a million if this could be turned back. Do you know if there is anyone I can contact personally to try and fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).
From https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
