HELP!! Account closed by someone?!

My Daughter has spent weeks creating an online portfolio for her University application – which was sent last week.
Now, a week later, an account she has held for years has been closed. Not by her either!
The Universities will be looking at her portfolio any time now, so the fact the account has been removed is likely to have a major effect on whether she gets a place or not.
She has had an email saying if the account has been closed by accident to get in touch, but she has not got access to any of the 3 “Proofs of Ownership” – as she has not got a transaction ID, 2FA was not set up and as she has held the account for many years, the Activation link email has been deleted for quite a while.
How/Why has her account been closed by someone, and how can we re-activate it as a matter of urgency?

Hi there, if the site was closed within the last 30 days, please have your daughter immediately respond to the email she received following closure, or ask her to log in to the relevant account and post here in this thread requesting to have the site deletion reversed.
Beyond the 30 days, it’s not possible to revert a site deletion.

She has tried to login, but gets an error saying the account has been closed and is asked for the above info – which again, she hasnt got.
Will a direct response to the email be enough?

Looks like she already responded to the email and got it re-opened. I’m sure staff reminded her, but if she leaves herself logged in with public computers (like at school) she puts herself at risk for this sort of thing. She’ll want to watch for that going forward.
