Help attracting readers

  Hello all :)
  Me and a friend have just set up a new blog. Really enjoying being on WordPress and have been reading some really good stuff so far!
  Sadly though, we have 0 views all together on everything.
  I was just wondering if anyone had advice on how to increase readership? Like sites where you can ask people to look at your blog and stuff like that?
  I tried searching but couldn’t find any topic discussing this, if there already is one that I’ve missed, please let me know and provide a link.
