Help avoiding long list of posts

  Is there anyway I can avoid a really long list of posts on my website? For example, adding in numbered pages with the first page showing the most recent few posts and the last page showing oldest posts?

  Hello,
  To reduce the number of posts displayed, go to My Sites > WP Admin > Settings > Reading. Change “Blog pages show at most” to a smaller number and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

  I’m on about on the actual website. That doesn’t change anything for my site. Theres a long list of blog posts on my site here http://www.infectiousmedia.com/news/ but I’d rather a better way of viewing them
