Help ! Beginner free theme not working

I’m new to this and have spent 2 whole days on a free theme, i picked a Beginner theme and tried to do the basic things. Colour, font, images. When i go to preview it looks nothing like the Demo. Why is this process so difficult. Ive used GoDaddy website builder and expected this to be similar Is there a simple video or step step help

Can you please mention the website you want help with? It sounds like you have a self-hosted WordPress website.
I hope you know WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different platforms. To understand more, please read this.

Hello Ravichahar Thank your reading my post. Yes. I read the difference between the two sites a few months ago and thought i understood the difference. I dont the skill for a DIY website or WordPress. I went to WordPress.com and it sounded simple so I followed the directions for a blog on that site. It Breathwise.wordpress.com. Is the site i am working on
I choose a Beginner theme called Radcliffe and after what i thought was the basics. Name, contact, about and tried to pick a colour … when I published the site and viewed it. It looked nothing like the Demo model. I have been through the process of using Godaddy website builder where you pick a theme and then choose options based on that so i guess i was assuming it was the same thing
I was looking for some easy step by step videos or help on this formum but could not see any. Can you point me in a direction please -
