~HELP!~ Blocking IP Address?? ~HELP!~

I have a bit of a problem….
well, the admin and I have a HUGE problem.
We have an imposter who is protraying a character that Kiwi kids knows.
But in the moment, the imposter is turning into a spammer and WON’T leave us alone (and is probally using an non-existant email adress).
jayden_d (admin of the I-Spy blog) and I are trying to get rid of the imposter but he keeps comming back.
So, here’s the thing. We are planning to block the IP address of the imposter but can’t find a way how.
Can someone PLEASE help us without treating us as n00bs?

Put the person’s IP address in the Comment Blacklist box as shown here:

@musagal-Depending on how they are connected to the internet their IP may change each time they connect. Use comment moderation by email or username to catch their comments and then delete the comments.
@tellyworth, just curious, doesn’t putting them on the Blacklist also report them to Akismet?

justjennifer, no, the Blacklist box is purely for your blog. It’s not sent to Akismet and Akismet has no way of knowing what’s in there.
