Help! Blog using wrong Twitter handle on Share button

When clicking the Twitter share button on the bottom of posts, it pops up with @OutdoorLatino but it should be @LatinoOutdoors. Thoughts? Solutions! Help please.

Hi Jose – Please update the Twitter username toward the bottom of Settings->Sharing here:
https://galvanrealestate.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=sharingIf it still doesn’t change after you’ve changed it there, let me know.

Hi there – Can you describe a bit more what you mean? When I use the Twitter sharing button on one of your posts, it just shows as ” via @galvanrestate”
Can you please make a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

Yes, but… when you tweet the blog post and click on View Summary the tweet shows:

Ah, ok. Thanks for the screenshot. I think that that author information reflects the display name and Twitter handle that was there at at the time the post was published. There’s no way to change it, but it should reflect the correct one for posts you publish going forward.
Let me know if it doesn’t.

Hi, I’m trying to link a twitter account to wordpress but it seems to use the wrong username “via @joshballs93” despite it being linked up correctly (it posts to the correct twitter: @GdGooseGraphics) any ideas on how I might solve this?

In Settings->Sharing here:
https://goodgoosegraphics.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=sharingScroll down to the bottom where you’ll see ‘Twitter username to include in tweets when people share using the Twitter button.’ It’s still got your old one there. Update it to the new and save your changes, and let me know if that fixes this. :)

Our blog (http://justpolicy.co.uk/) is still showing our old Twitter handle (@TFCampagins) even though we updated it to our new one (@TearfundAct) in the share settings. Any help is appreciated.
