The old handle is @joneticgrace. The new handle is @thehazelgennie. Is that all you need?
Thanks. -

HI there! I’m having the same problem, my blog here http://traduficcion.wordpress.com/ is using my old twitter handle (it was @TraduFiccion and I changed it a couple of weeks ago for @aixalmatrad). My publicize widget is working well and I have connected and reconected my twitter account to see if it got fixed but it didn’t. Also, I’ve been reading answers, and I can assure you I didn’y publish my post until yesterday (I had it as a draft, I don’t know if that is a problem) but when someone hits the twitter sharing button it link to my old handle @TraduFiccion. I really need it to link to my newer user name, how can I fix this?

Hi, Grace! You tried to fix this, but it didn’t go through…
My blog is karenblumberg.wordpress.com and my OLD Twitter handle was @SpecialKRB. New posts should be pushed to my NEW Twitter handle @KarenBlumberg through Publicize.I’d like @KarenBlumberg to be the Twitter handle shown when people tweet my posts.
Thanks much!

Hi, Grace! You tried to fix this, but it didn’t go through as a new WordPress post was just shared with my old Twitter name…
My blog is karenblumberg.wordpress.com and my OLD Twitter handle was @SpecialKRB. New posts should be pushed to my NEW Twitter handle @KarenBlumberg through Publicize.
I’d like @KarenBlumberg to be the Twitter handle shown when people tweet my posts.
Thanks much!

Hi Grace,
I’m also having the same problem. When people share my posts via twitter it shows up as ” via @lweinberg18″ when it should be ” via @Laneheymont.” Any help? Thanks.
My site is http://laneheymont.com

I’m still having this issue. New posts from karenblumberg.wordpress.com should be shared with @KarenBlumberg as the Twitter handle, but they are including an old Twitter handle. I do NOT want @SpecialKRB included. The switch to the newer twitter handle was made almost a year ago, yet new posts still include it. I appreciate any and all assistance. Thank you!!!

@aixalma It looks like your Twitter account is sorted out, but you will need to reconnect to Facebook.
@karenblumberg, I’ve updated things and I’m seeing your @karenblumberg showing up as the Twitter handle for a new post now. Previously published posts will still show your old handle.
@laneaheymont, same for you. Your @laneheymont handle should now be appearing for new posts.

Old posts will still be showing my old handle? I published just one entry after I changed my twitter handle, is there some way I can delete it and republish it so I get the right hadle for sharing my post? Im really interested in having that post with the right handle.

What we can do is update your site so the correct Twitter handle/username shows up on Publicize for when you send out new posts. It doesn’t go back and retroactively change anything. If you wish for a post to go out under your new Twitter name, you will need to create a new post and publish it again so that it goes out to your new Publicize connections.

Hi, I am encountering the same problem. I changed my twitter handle recently from @a2musings to @iabhijay. I tried first disconnecting my wordpress account and then reconnecting again but while sharing on twitter it again shows the old @a2musings handle in the share message. It should be corrected to @iabhijay. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i shared a link to twitter accidentally being logged into the wrong account. I don’t have access to the twitter account it shared to anymore and desperately need to delete it. Can it be deleted via wordpress or from the blog owner?
-
@abhijay1987 I’ve updated your Twitter account.
@furhatnoknickers I cannot fix that action after the fact, assuming the post has already gone out via Twitter. The Twitter account owner will have to remove it from their feed.
If you connected the wrong account to your blog, if you post the blog address and the old (wrong) and correct Twitter accounts, I can update that for the future for you.
