Anyways I observed You are using the same theme “connections” as I was using. However, I observed You set up a custom image different from what is available by default for the said theme. And The text headers are blurred because You didn’t select the right length and widht image header. The first lesson is to select image header exactly 741X142 pixels.
Second thing is You didn’t select all of many widgets available to fit into the right side bar. You can go to My Dashboard^Presentation^Sidebar widgets and bring the available widgets to the side bar by dragging and dropping the same.Just play with each of them and You’ll know which one works for you

This will help with the set up and configuring of widgets.(4) And this will help you understand blogrolls, links and categories and their relationships.
