Help building a specific feature on my website

Hi there. I have a personal plan. The services I sell require a customer to “build” their product. Is there a way for me to do this without code? I can’t afford a business plan at the moment to install plugins. I’ll try to describe exactly what I mean.
I offer bookbinding services. I’d like for someone to be able to “build” their book, to choose which type of materials. Say they want a book bound with a certain selection of Buckram, a certain type and color of bookmark ribbon, then a certain end sheet. I’d like them to be able to click the Buckram option, then the ribbon selection, then the end sheet selection, all from pictures of the certain products. Then total it and add it to a cart and check out with PayPal or debit/credit card. Is this possible with a personal plan and no coding, or would I need to upgrade to be able to install plugins?

Many thanks for reaching out and providing a detailed brief of what you need.
Based on what you’ve said, on the personal plan, this is how I perhaps would approach this:
– I would create a form on the site using the form block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/form-block/ for customers to fill in their requirements.
– Once emails are received, I would create an invoice in PayPal to send to the customer as per these instructions: https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-create-and-send-an-invoice-faq3144 , this step would be conducted outside of the website and on PayPal.com, mainly because it’s not possible to link a payment block or form blocks in WordPress.
If you require extra styling, or tweaks that can be done via CSS, using the premium plan, may be a middle ground between the personal plan and the business plan.
Hopefully, as the operation grows, the business plan, might become a more viable option, as you could look at ways to improve efficiency between customer and supplier.

Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate it. That will be very useful. That is what I will do then until I’m able to upgrade further. I’ll also look into upgrading to the premium plan. Maybe that will have some more useful features I could use. I’ll have to research what CSS is. All of this is new to me. Again, thank you so much for helping me, and so timely.

Thank you very much for your reply and detailed response. I think it will definitely prove most helpful. That is what I will do then until I’m able to upgrade to a business or e-commerce plan.
